We recently had the pleasure of installing our Extra Low Voltage DC panels in St. Paul’s University’s classrooms. Here’s what they had to say.
“After installing Rimikon LED lights in two classrooms, our energy consumption was reduced by two thirds in those rooms. The lighting quality was better and we really like the fact these lights do not emit electromagnetic radiation.
We also installed LED lights in the bathrooms and in the outer courtyard. The lights work very well in humid environments such as near the showers inside and no matter what the temperature or weather conditions are outside.
This summer, Saint Paul University plans to incorporate other LED lights when we build an 18,000 square foot Student Life Centre and renovate other classrooms. Our buildings are old and some upgrade costs are expensive. Being able to find an affordable solution that reduces our energy consumption and costs, all while improving the quality of our lighting, helps us serve as a good example and raise awareness about environmentally-friendly innovations.
We felt it was important to work with a local company. Our pilot project was a big success. There weren’t any problems and we are very satisfied. We look forward to growing our partnership with Rimikon.”
